TX7100 Intelligent Smoke Detector Coverage

The coverage range of TX7100 smoke detectors presents two gradients, mainly depending on the installation height:
When the installation height is not higher than 6 meters, the coverage radius is 5.8 meters, and the area is about 60 square meters;
when the height is between 6 meters and 12 meters, the coverage radius is 6.7 meters, and the area is about 80 square meters.
When the height of the building is higher than 12 meters, it is recommended to choose TX7130 infrared beam smoke detector, which is summarized in the following table:
How Do Smoke Detectors Work?
TX7100 smoke detector secure and speedy communication through the on-board processor enables the detector to make its own decision, resulting in greater automation.
In the event of fire, the integral microprocessor analyzes the signal according to factors such as signal strength and rate of increase, then confirms these patterns with the pre-programmed fire scenarios and smoke patterns, for a faster and safer response.
Once it is confirmed, the LED indicates the sensor status and a parallel communication signal to the control panel. The TX7100 detector is compatible with the TX7004 analogue intelligent fire alarm control panel, produced by a single manufacturer T&A, to avoid addressable communication compatibility problems.
Optical Smoke Detector Application
The TX7100 Optical Smoke Detector is intelligent, it’s Applicable Locations – Hotels, office buildings, shopping malls, residential communities, entertainment venues, data centers, archives, and other public areas
Non-Applicable Locations – Areas with normal presence of dust, steam, oil mist, or water vapor, as well as high-altitude regions

TX7 Serials Addressable Fire Alarm Panels System
A Fire Alarm System is powerful that not only requires a core control panel like the LPCB CE certified TX7004 FACP (Fire Alarm Control Panel), but also needs to be paired with other detectors, modules, and appropriate configurations based on the project’s scale to maximize its effectiveness.

Smoke Detector FAQ
How to test smoke detector?
Detector Configuration, includ detector addressing, set LED On/Off and read configuration, you can program the detector with the TX7932 programmer.
Do smoke detectors detect carbon monoxide?
No, this TX7100 can not detect somke and carbon monoxide at the same time, but the model TX7120 smoke and gas detector can do these.
Where to install smoke detectors?
Due to the coverage space, it is recommended that TX7100 is installed under 8 meters high, while the TX7130 beam smoke detector is installed above 8 meters high.
